Homeschool Inspiration for When You Feel Like Quitting {HomeSchool High Link-Up}

All homeschool moms feel like quitting at some point. {Does this make you feel better already?} It happens, and we have to find some way to keep going.

One thing that helps me is to remember why I started homeschooling and to reflect back on my "why" or vision for our homeschool.

If those things don't help… and let's face it, sometimes they don't help… then I look for some homeschool inspiration. Sometimes we just need some kindling to light the homeschool passion fires back into flame.

Today I wanted to simply share some kindling…

some homeschool inpiration.

I hope these quotes help you as much as they are helping me.

"By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches."

~ Proverbs 24:3-4

"Now you are deep in what seems to me a peculiarly selfless service. The spiritual training of children must be that. You work for the years you will not see. You work for the Invisible all the time, but you work for the Eternal. So it is all worthwhile."

~ Amy Carmichael, from (my affiliate link) A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael
by Elisabeth Elliot

"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire."

~ William Butler Yeats

"I never teach my pupils; I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn."

~ Albert Einstein

  1. I needed that encouragement to keep going. Some days I fantasize about chucking this homeschooling thing and going back to work. At least I got paid to do that! Then, God sends me a message like this and I know, this work is more worthy and noble. Thank you, my friend!
