Welcome to my new home!
Let’s have a housewarming party!
I mentioned not long ago that I was working on a move to WordPress. Well, I made it! And I hope I didn’t lose any of you who normally read by RSS or email. If I did, I really didn’t mean to ditch you, I promise!
I am so excited to see what God does in this new home of mine on the web. I hope to have more opportunity to serve other mommas, and reach out in more ways.
You’ll notice that my comment section now includes a way for you to subscribe to comments~ either just because you want to see what others have to say, or because you want to hear my reply back to you. My hope is that this change will facilitate a little more community, and enable you to talk back to me and to one another in a deeper way.
I also hope to have a couple of eBooks completed for you very soon. But more on that later. For now, some fun stuff!!
Housewarming Party Giveaways!
In honor of my big move, I will be running some giveaways over the next couple of weeks! Yes, you heard right … free stuff!
My first giveaway will come from DaisyHead Creations… my knitwear and design business. (Which will also be getting a renovation soon.)
Five lucky winners will receive their choice of knitting or crochet pattern from my pattern store!
The Grand Prize winner will receive a custom made hat! You can choose from any of the styles below. I will make it in your chosen color (s) and in your chosen size. You could make it a baby hat or a hat for yourself~ the choice is yours! You could even choose one of my handdyed yarns!
How to enter:
Mandatory Entry: Leave me a comment telling me which pattern or which hat you would love to win. (If you tell me that you would like a hat, I won’t make you take a pattern~ It’s your choice.)
Additional entries:
- Visit the daisyhead Facebook page and leave me a separate comment telling me the best baby or child rearing tip you have ever gotten. {I’d also love it if you would Like my page and join the conversation.} Come back here and leave me a comment telling me that you visited and shared.
- Follow the blog, either by RSS or by email (top of the sidebar).
- Tweet about the giveaway, including a link to this post and my twitter handle, @thedaisyhead. Come back and leave a comment telling me that you tweeted and your twitter handle.
- Follow thedaisyhead on Twitter.
- Visit the DaisyHead Creations Facebook page and tell me your favorite craft or favorite item that you’ve ever made. {I’d love it if you Liked that page or visited my Etsy shop as well!}
- Go to thedaisyhead Facebook page and share my post about the giveaway with your friends.
