Just starting my Christmas planning– Oh, my!

Life has been a roller coaster at my house this fall! I have been working furiously to finish updates of my first two soaker patterns (DaisyHead Delight and DaisyHead Bloomers), as well as publishing a new pattern. Now that the pattern work is almost complete, I am starting to feel as if I can breathe again.

Of course, now that I am coming up for air, I have realized that the holidays are upon us! How did that happen? I am so not ready. So~ I spent a little time today (while the children were doing independent work) trying to make up for lost time.

I received my copy of The Old Schoolhouse’s Digital Holiday Supplement a few weeks ago~ and then promptly forgot about it. It was the first thing I perused in my Christmas planning. If you have not gotten your copy yet, you should click right over and grab your copy! (Just click on the picture.) There are some tasty looking treats in those pages, as well as some crafts for the children. And the price is right. Yes, it’s free!

After I glanced through the supplement, I decided to head over to my friend’s blog, Spell Outloud. She usually finds all kinds of fun, crafty activities for young ones. Well, she did not disappoint. A few weeks ago, she posted a slew of free Christmas printables and downloads. I found some fun stuff in there that we will be busying ourselves with over the next few days. You should hop on over and check them out!

Where are you finding great Christmas ideas this year? Have you found some wonderful resources that I shouldn’t miss? What activities is your family enjoying this season? Have pity on this slow-to-start-this-year momma! Share some goodies with me?
